One of the best ways to avoid forgetting important items for a
dive trip is to keep a scuba gear checklist. In fact, if you are
about to make a trip, make sure to have your scuba dive gear
serviced. To enjoy your trip, you need to divide your scuba gear
checklist into two groups, the first group pertains to the
actual dive, the other is for your time in the boat.
For your actual dive you want to make sure you have the
following equipment.
Mask: This is essential for good visibiilty ...

Author of Jerry's Riot: The True Story of Montana's 1959 Prison Disturbance
In the 30 years since his last days as warden, Ed 'Bus' Ellsworth had never gone inside the old prison in Deer Lodge. I coaxed him back on a raw March afternoon, anxious to hear what he could remember about the 1959 riot and its aftermath.
I was researching a book that I planned to write someday. I didn't have a title for it because, like writers do, I was trying to find the central story. Newspaper ...

The expression "There are no atheists in foxholes" is widely
used by religious leaders, politicians and the media.
It is a false and bigoted statement.
"There are atheists in foxholes," says atheist Jason Torpy of
Ohio, a retired U.S. Army captain.
Torpy joined the Army in 1994 right after graduating high
school. He now serves as president of the Military Association
of Atheists and Freethinkers, an Internet-based support network
for non-theistic service members.
On Nov. 10-11, ...

One day when I was in a bad neighborhood of Minneapolis, I
overheard a young urban youth - maybe fourteen or fifteen -
trying to pick up on girls. None of them seemed to want to give
him the time of day and in frustration he yelled: "Hey, I'm a
man. I've been to jail."
Whoa. It made me think, that one did. Could it true that in some
sub-cultures incarceration is considered a rite of passage into
manhood, rather than a blot on your character? This young boy
obviously thought so and he probably ...

As you may know, there are many genres of porn that may seem a
little too extreme to the average porn consumer but I won't go
into them right now. Suffice it to say we can't put that genie
back into the bottle: those genres have acquired their own
following, and they're here to stay. What you can do as someone
who watches porn (and here is where I advocate techniques that
have worked for me in the past) is try to regress - so to speak
- back to a prior state of mind where your ...
